• 1Skin prep: Silicone primer on T-zone only — press into pores with ring finger, do not rub; creates a smooth canvas for the base to photograph without settling into texture
• 2Concealer: Full-coverage concealer under eyes and on any redness — blend outward with a damp sponge; set immediately with a tiny amount of loose translucent powder to prevent creasing over the course of a 4–6 hour event
• 3Brows: Fill in sparse areas with a micro-brow pencil in one shade lighter than your brow hair — brush through with a spoolie; defined brows are the framing element that stops the bold lip from reading as too dominant
• 4Blush: Soft peachy-pink blush on the apples and swept toward the temple — the teal saree is cool-toned and the red lip is warm; the blush bridges the two and keeps the face from looking flat
• 5Mascara: Two coats black mascara on upper lashes only — lower lash mascara with the red lip creates a "drag" effect; keep eyes clean to let the lip dominate
• 6Lip liner: Red lip liner (matching the chosen lipstick shade) — outline and fully fill the lip with liner first; this is the base layer that prevents feathering and extends wear
• 7Lip colour: Bold true-red matte or satin lipstick pressed over the liner — blot once with a tissue, re-apply one more coat; the double-layer technique makes the lip last 6–8 hours without touchup
• 8Setting spray: Two pumps of setting spray held 30cm from the face — eyes closed, mist in a Z-pattern; sets everything including the lip so even dancing and eating don't break it down prematurely
