Kurta fabric clinging to the trousers due to static

Spray a tiny amount of water on the inside of the kurta and shake it out. Or rub a moisturised hand along the inner fabric. A safety pin at the side seam can also anchor it.

Use a safety pin to clip the bra strap to the inner kurta seam at the shoulder. If you have a hair tie, use it to clip both straps together at the back to create a racerback.

Add the dupatta if you removed it. Swap flats for heels. Add a bindi and one extra gold bangle. These three moves add 2 dress codes instantly.

Use two small safety pins on the inside of the button placket to reinforce the gap. Pull the dupatta over the front to cover. If side seams are the issue, a tailor can let them out for ₹80.

Pin the dupatta to the kurta shoulder with a small safety pin or a decorative saree pin. Pin both ends — not just one — on opposite shoulders.
