"Will this look good on my body type, or only on skinny models?"

A saree works for every body type because the drape is fully adjustable — you control where the pleats fall and how much fabric crosses the midriff. Yellow is a warm colour that best complements warm and medium skin tones — wheatish, dusky, and olive complexions. It creates a luminous contrast without washing out these tones.
