Keep your shoulder line even and relaxed — the ruffle should look like it belongs there, not like you're holding it up. The seated pose with legs crossed and one hand resting near the shoulder creates natural asymmetry.

The elasticated waist is the structural hero — ensure it has enough give to move without bunching. The ruffle neckline width should span both shoulder bones exactly; anything narrower reads as a regular bardot.
